Golden Sparks Dance Team

Golden Sparks is designed for grades Kindergarten-2nd grade. The scholars may try out in PreK4, Kindergarten and 1st grade to participate in the upcoming school year.

Golden Sparks is typically comprised of 10-25 athletes with a variety of skills and abilities. Routines generally created will include elements of tumbling, stunting, jumping, dance, and other skills set to music. The routines are typically 2 1/2 minutes in length.  Tumbling training skills are required to participate in Golden Sparks. However, tumbling is not required to be selected for the team but is strongly encouraged. The cheerleaders/dancers will cheer or dance for K-2 grade sports. In addition, the cheerleaders will perform at school wide events throughout the school year. Golden Sparks will teach all athletes the basics and fundamentals of cheerleading and dance.

The cheerleaders/dancers performing season is typically August-April.
